Your Posture Is Your Future: Yoga Intensive for dedicated students & yoga instructors

What is optimal posture and how does it affect our future?

This intensive addresses the experience and understanding of how to align your bones with poses that bring a balance to the musculoskeletal system and breath practices that aid in freeing unconscious restrictions.

You will align with gravity in such a way that your bones grow stronger, joints are free and supportive, and your muscles move comfortably and gracefully through daily activities.

You will leave this workshop with a clearer sense of body awareness and a greater sense of comfort, ease, and fluidity in your movements and in your breath.  The therapeutic applications of the basic asanas are the building blocks of a better posture-and a better future.
This two day workshop encompasses the safe way to practice yoga with a thorough study of the antomy and physiology of each pose.  Contraindications and the correct therapeutic application of yoga are extensively studied.  We will focus on the therapeutic practices that support optimal posture, diaphragmatic breathing, and basic seated pose.

This workshop is geared for enthusiastic students and instructors who want to expand their knowledge of yoga.
