Our Advanced Yoga Teacher Studies is grounded in the history and philosophy of yoga and brings it into modern times by encompassing all the latest scientific knowledge of kinesiology, anatomy, yoga therapy/alignment/safety, and meditation. We are dedicated to offering the most relevant and compelling schedule of courses available with a wide array of teachers who are experts in their field.

Classes will cover technique, philosophy and history, ethics, meditation, kirtan, ayurveda, chakras, sequencing and teaching methodology. Gain more tools in your “yoga tool belt” so you can bring even more to yourself, your students and your community. Join us for this incredible journey with like minded practitioners, to embrace ancient yoga teachings and discover more profound subtle truths about yourself and all that you truly have to offer.

Our 300 hour training program is conveniently organized so that you can immerse yourself in the richness of the training without being overwhelmed. The courses are normally taught over 18 weekends, one weekend a month for 18 months. After you have completed all 18 weekends and a 30 hour practicum you will receive your 300 hour certification. If you are unable to commit to the full 300 hour program, you can still register for individual weekend courses that you are interested in.

Topics covered:

Yoga Therapy

Meticulous and precise alignment, anatomy and kinesiology to deepen your knowledge of the human body and how it moves and functions, and how to bring safety and care to all your students, no matter their challenges.

Yoga Philosophy/Yoga Sutras

We will go deeper into the well of yogic history and philosophy to have greater understanding of how those ancient teachings are the basis of what we teach today and how we can tap into and relate that knowledge to current times.


Being willing to be present with yourself, your practice and your teaching is obviously a vitally important part of yoga. We delve into more ways to tap into this deeper part of our self to bring awareness and intention to everything we do.

Ethics/Non-Violent Communication

Stemming from the Sutra’s Yamas and Niyamas and tapping into deeper aspects of how we deal with students and others in kind, respectful and appropriate ways.


Learn more about prana/life energy and how we can affect it to bring about desired results for deeper wellness and health. How our poses effect our chakras and how to successfully bring this deeper into your teaching.


Yoga’s sister science is vitally important to health. We learn to alter our poses and practice for our self and others according to our constitution, age, season and more.

Teaching Methodology

Delve deeper into sequencing, yoga flow, other types of yoga, and how to improve your teaching in a myriad of ways.

Advanced  Yoga Teacher Training Details


You must be 20 years old or older and have graduated from high school or obtained a GED. You must also be a graduate of a 200 hour Yoga training program.


Tuition for the 300 hours of classes, is $4,500. To apply please contact our admissions team. After you have completed all 18 weekends and your 30 hour practicum you will receive a certificate for completing 300 hours. Individuals not taking the entire schedule of classes will receive a certificate for each class completed.

**Please note: The yoga therapy components of our training are based on our ABHES credentials, not derived from our status as a RYS with Yoga Alliance Registry.
