Equine Massage Workshop: Introduction to Equine Massage

This workshop is designed for the horse owner and the horse enthusiast. At the end of this workshop the student will have basic knowledge of:

• Muscle anatomy of the horse
• Skeletal anatomy of the horse
• Application of the five basic Swedish massage strokes
• Perform a full body Equine massage
• Understand Horse gaits
• Understand Horse behavior
• Study Indications and contraindications for massage
• Learn How to stay safe while massaging a horse

Workshop Location Classes are held at Sugar Creek Resort, nestled on the Kentucky River in the rolling hills of the Bluegrass region		About Your Instructor A dedicated animal massage therapist, Rhonda Reich has traveled the world to teach equine massage.
Licensed by the Kentucky State Board of Proprietary Education, an American Massage Therapy Association council of schools member, an accepted school of massage therapy by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
