Yin Yoga Weekend Intensive
Spend a weekend in communion with your body as we dive deep into Yin Yoga principles. Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body, with special attention to the hips, sacrum, and spine. Yin poses are passively held for a longer period (3-7 minutes). These long, deep holds offer great benefit to our muscles, bones, and connective tissues, and also allow us the space to grow in our mindfulness, pranayama (breathwork), and somatic practices. Throughout the weekend you’ll learn about the history, philosophy, training resources, benefits, and of course asanas (poses) to develop and deepen a personal Yin practice. While not a certified Yin Yoga teacher training, the concepts taught in this workshop will be a useful supplement yoga teacher education. Bring a notebook and a pen for your own learning and reflective journaling!
Because of the intensive nature of this course, we recommended that you have at least an intermediate level of yoga practice.

Julia D’Agostino is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, mat Pilates instructor, trauma coach, and tarot reader. Julia has been practicing Yoga since 2008 and believes wholeheartedly in exploring the body as the gateway to healing and wellness. Julia’s classes emphasize strong, fluid movements with anatomical precision and emotional sensitivity, prioritizing safety and encouraging introspection.
