Largest Employer of Licensed Massage Therapists in US Projects Need for New Therapists

Massage Envy Spa, an organization operating more than 1000 locations across the United States and employing more than 21,000 licensed massage therapists, is currently experiencing a shortage of massage therapists to fill current job openings. They also anticipate that the number of licensed massage therapists will not be great enough to meet their needs in 2015.

As the largest employer of licensed massage therapists in the Nation, Massage Envy has a good feel for the growth of this industry and where it is headed.

In the Lexington, Kentucky area Massage Envy is currently hiring for 22 open positions across two regional locations. In 2015 they expect to hire an additional 30 therapists.
