Receptionist - Part-time
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under the supervision of the Clinic Director, the receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting clients and visitors, checking clients in and ring clients out, take/change/cancel appointments, maintain lobby area, light administrative work and other duties assigned. The position will be 15-20 hours/week, including some Saturdays and Sundays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming calls
- Greet clients and visitors
- Check clients in and ring clients out
- Take, change and cancel appointments
- Maintain the company’s lobby area
- Perform administrative duties-data entry, filing, sticking supplies
- Maintain a positive attitude and excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned
- Abide by all LHAA policies and procedures in the LHAA Employee Handbook
EXPERIENCE & QUALFICATIONS
- Superior administrative, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of current technology tools
- Prior reception/administrative work a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Enthusiasm, good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity, and honesty
- Customer service skills, communication skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry
- Professionalism
- Confidentiality of client paperwork, as in compliance with state law
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to sit and work at least a 6 hour shift
- Able to lift 10 pounds (supplies needed to stock the clinic)
ACCOUNTABILITY/GOALS
- This position is accountable to the Clinic Director
- Help build and maintain clientele through excellent booking skills
- Provide consistent customer/client care
- Continue display of dependability and excellent communication skills
