28 Hour Advanced MLD

In this course, students will learn to properly perform Manual Lymph Drainage on clients who had Liposuction, Tummy Tucks, Breast surgeries (including mastectomies), and Brazilian Buttock Lifts. This course goes in-depth on each one of these procedures.

Pre-requisites
This Advanced MLD course is open to manual lymph drainage certified therapists, (certified through ACOLS or equivalent) and certified lymphedema therapists.

Course Objectives
This course will assist therapists in developing treatment sequences and protocols specific to post-surgery of Liposuction, Breast Surgeries, Tummy Tucks, and Brazilian Butt Lifts. This will include and discuss the techniques, contraindications, risk factors, and protocols related to these surgeries.
