Watch as Amanda, a personal fitness trainer with the Lexington Healing Arts Academy Fitness Center walks us through how to do an SO50 Row with proper form and alignment. Maintaining correct form is crucial for avoiding injury and obtaining optimal results during training. This is a great exercise for strengthening back muscles and improving posture.

Hold onto the SO50 bar with your hands on the outside ends of the bar. Lean back and walk your feet down keeping your arms straight. Maintain a straight line between your shoulders and your ankles. Then you’re going to pull up, bringing your chest up to meet the bar with the elbows pointing slightly out to the sides and pinching your shoulder blades together. Slowly lower back down and repeat.

Amanda likes to teach her personal fitness training clients this exercise to help improve back strength and posture.
