Join us for our monthly Fitness Center Seminar which this month focuses on the topic of Women and Strength Training. Many women have questions and concerns regarding strength training and may even avoid it: “I don’t want to look like a man,” “I don’t want to get hurt,” “I don’t know what to do.” These are some of the common concerns we hear at LHAA regarding this topic.

- Explore the misconceptions surrounding women and weight training
- Discover the impact that strength training has on the body at any age and fitness level, including long term health benefits
- Learn good form vs. bad form with a few key movements through demonstration and assessment
- Understand the value of a personal trainer in teaching good form for the best results
